Happy Halloween Everyone!

I didn't get to post as much as I wanted to this week, but hope you have enjoyed what I've posted. Claire and I wrote three days this week for our Christmas stories, so I was making sure you'll have a Merry Christmas.

It's time to end this week right by talking about my true love, TG Fiction Stories. The story has been told before, but you know I like repeating myself! When I first got involved with TG Land, I HATED caps. At the time, technology wasn't there and most caps were poorly designed with low-res photos. I turned my attention to TG Stories on Fictionmania, Nifty, StorySite, and whatever else was around at the time.

This isn't a "top" list by any means of the imagination. These are stories that I remember from over the years because they meant something to me.

1. No More Bluebeard by Debbie Sanderson

This was one of the first TG stories I ever read. It's very simple by today's standards. Halloween isn't mentioned but a costume party is so close enough! I'm not sure where I first read this but luckily it is available on TGFiction.net. It was written in the late 90's.

2. The Former Boys Club by the Professor

Another classic story by a famous TG authro!

3. First Place Bride by Lisa Elisabeth and Donna Anne

This story is very old skool TG Fiction invovling a boy who goes to a costume contest as a bride. Reminds me a lot of Karen L. Elizabeth's work. Wonder if there's a connection based on the name...

4. The Slumber Party by Rogergirl

This story has a great idea, boys dress as cheerleaders for Halloween. Unfortunately, it's VERY short. (That's what she said.)

5. The Office Clown by Belladonna

This is a new story. Belladonna has put out a few good crossdressing stories for Halloween over the years.

6: LOST STORY by UNKNOWN!

There was a story I read when I first got into TG Land about a guy who dresses up as a cheerleader for Halloween, has sex with a guy, wakes up the next day as a real girl and a female friend comforts him. Trying to find it!

7: Made Maidenly by Claire Bear and Courtney Captisa

You didn't expect anything less than a shameless plug from me, right? The reason I'm putting this on the list is because this is the first Halloween story we ever released and it combines a lot of our favorite themes. The story does take a dark turn but still remains its sweet and clean nature! It recently hit #1 on the UK TG Fiction chart!

Why Halloween Fucked Up Courtney as a Child

People often ask me, "How long have you been into gender transformation?"

The answer is really: As long as I can remember.

When I was a small child, I had dreams of various transformations other than gender such as height, animal, culture/race, etc. As far as gender transformation, you can thank the heavy amount of crossdressing on You Can't Do That On Television and movies like this:

I was searching for this clip for a LONG time and it has been mentioned on this blog before. Basically I remembered a made-for-TV movie from the early-90's when I was a young child where there's a scene where a boy is forced to dress in a girly outfit for Halloween. When watching a YouTube video about random Halloween movies the other day, The Last Halloween was mentioned. When browsing it on YouTube, the clip shows up so mystery solved! It's a very short clip, but seemed to have a lasting impression. You can basically thank forced crossdressing for "comedic" value on random 80s/90s shows for the reason why I make TG art now.

Halloween Week Begins: Found a Maid

I wanted to do something different with this picture. On the surface, it looks like a photo of an attractive girl in costume. In reality, anyone who looks at this photo like me who sees hundreds of photos a day can tell that this picture is from a few years ago. Based on the camera quality and hairstyle, I'm going to assume this is from 2007-2010.

That's what gave me the idea for this cap. I've done some similar ones before, but I love the idea of someone finding out a male in their life is a former crossdresser or was trangendered at this point. There are a few cases of people who went back to their original assigned gender while living full-time. That and talking to Ben gave me the idea.

TG Mall Book #2: Tricked and Treated is released!

Are we crazy for releasing 2 books in about 24 hours? I don't think so. TG Mall Book #2 and Made Maidenly are completely different in terms of plot and themes, but I think fans of clean TG Fiction will appreciate them both. Our team were working are asses off last week to make sure we got these finished by Halloween time and I'm happy with the results. TG Mall 2 was supposed to come out a few weeks ago but Haylee had to give up finishing the book and I had to take over. She will return writing the series at some point but I know I'll be doing Book #3.

TG Mall Book #1: New Look introduced us to the new world of TG Mall. Book #2 follows a similar theme but involves a race change and more back plot to why the changes are occurring. In Book #3, I'll dive in more!

I also want to announce that Monday will start "Halloween Week" here at CCC. I may not be posting a cap every day, but will do a post focusing on something gender transformation related!

New Book Announcement & Cap

As I may have mentioned before, Claire and I met last week to discuss ideas for Christmas stories this year. I've found that there aren't too many GOOD Christmas stories in TG Land other than really generic (boy gets girl presents for Christmas) and lame movie rip-offs. My idea is to do something like 4 weeks of Christmas and put out a new story every week in December, much like those really corny god awful 30 days of Christmas movies on family channels.

We have some very good ideas for Christmas stories although Claire brought up a good point that it's coming up on Halloween and we didn't do a Halloween story. TG Mall #2 by Haylee is Halloween based and will be released next week. Since Halloween is a popular holiday with TG/CD community, why not?

Claire and I decided to do our own on a popular take on a "french maid" story. The plot involves a guy who is asked to go with a female friend to a party at a rich person's house dressed as a maid. Little does he know, he may be joining the staff! It's a fun shorter story at about 13k words (yes, this is short to us.... that's what she said)

I'm putting the finishing touches on it tonight and talking with Claire about cover art later tonight as well so hopefully it will be on Amazon in a few short days!

It's a CCC Christmas, Updates, & Patreon Announcement

I know what you are thinking, Christmas is still months ago! Well here at CCC/In Your Dreams Publishing, we are always in the spirit!

Here's the real story: 
As mentioned before, the team has been working really hard to push out new content.

Due to some personal conflicts in Haylee's life, I'm going to finish TG Mall Book #2. She wrote about 8,000 words of it so far and it will probably be another 5k or so. She's really overwhelmed with college right now. The story has a Halloween theme so it will definitely be out before the end of this month.

Claire and I just finished a new book that is over 30,000 words that we've been working on for about a month. It's a new book series called "Modern TG Classics" and will feature a story based on popular TG Fiction tropes with a modern twist. The first one is called "When in Rome". This also may be the first book will illustrations and we aren't playing any games with it.

We met today and spent a few hours plotting out future Modern TG Classic books. That's when we got in the holiday spirit and decided to start working on a Christmas story! I'm going to try releasing a new story every week in December.

I should also mention some things happening in my personal life. Although I'm still working, a rough winter is expected and I'm going through some career changes. I made the decision to put a lot more time into writing TG Fiction, especially since there are very few "clean" TG stories on Amazon. Although a few of our stories feature sex, the sex scenes are usually just a little extra (no pun intended) and only about 20% of our books feature a scene like that. It's not like some books I see where a guy transforms into a girl in the 2nd paragraph and then starts having sex with a bunch of guys. I know some people like that but it's never been what we liked primarily.

Here are my real goals:
I want to start taking this to the next level and release more books with illustrations. For this, I need to pay an artist. Also we've had the request to start doing audiobooks and for this I need several trained voice actors. I've reached out to a few, but no responses and have found that I need to find people who are interested in TG Fiction in order to make this happen!

With all of this on my mind, I came up with the idea for this cap!
