On a chilly December evening, roommates Ryan and Connor shared some strong alcohol beverages. The guys had only decorated the living room with a small Christmas tree. Neither were in much of the holiday spirit since both their plans to go back to their parent’s house for the holiday had failed. Ryan’s family was going across the country to visit his sister and Connor’s Mom was spending Christmas in the Islands with her new boyfriend.
Ryan reclined back in his chair as he sipped more whisky. “What would it take to make this the BEST Christmas?”
“Bro, I don’t think that’s possible anymore. We aren’t kids looking forward to Santa delivering a bunch of presents!” Connor snarked taking more of his drink as well.
“Come on, dude! There has to be SOMETHING you’ve always wanted for Christmas!”
In Connor’s alcoholic state, memories flashed back of missed opportunities during the holiday season. “Well, way back in 2013 I was in a Christmas play at church. I had to play the part of a tree but my friend Courtney got to dress up as a pretty ballerina and I was so jealous of her.”
“So you want to be a chick? WTF?!”
“Bro.. don’t lie. There has to be a moment in your life when you thought about being a girl too.”
“What does this have to do with Christmas?”
“EVERYTHING! Christmas is supposed to be a magically time. A holiday to ask for things you’ve always wanted!”
“I’ve never WANTED to be a girl… but… *sip* could be fun for a day or two.”
It was then decided that this Christmas would indeed be different than the rest. Rylie and Cassie started to give the apartment a feminine makeover the next day. They went to Target to buy everything they would need from more Christmas lights and garland to bras, panties, PJs, makeup products, new bed sheets, and more! This Christmas would be spent roleplaying as younger versions of themselves. Sisters they never had. They made plans to exchange gifts, each knowing these new identities would probably last a little longer than just this holiday season.
