Christmas Success!

Due to my breakdown the other week, A Girlfriend for Christmas, was delayed by a week. I managed to get it up on Amazon Christmas Eve. Crossdressed for Christmas, a shorter story, was released in the wee hours of Christmas morning as a gift to everyone. This makes most of our Christmas stories out with the exception of A Wish for Christmas that I'm going to try getting out New Years Eve.

Apparently a lot of people were looking for some excitement on Christmas, because the book got over 200 downloads Christmas Day! We also had 50 sales of other books that day, making this Christmas our best selling day this year! Wow! Thanks everyone. This caused the book to go #1 on the TG Fiction Free chart and also topped the chart of the UK TG Fiction chart.

In other news, the blog also hit 10 million views this week!

Crossdressed for Christmas will remain free until Tuesday. Amazon has a limit on how many days a book can be set to $0. After that, it will go up in price to $2.99 UNLESS you have Kindle Unlimited since I put it in that program as well.

What's funny is, our Halloween story, Made Maidenly, is still at top of the charts and has proved to be one of our most popular books this year! Maybe we need to release a Halloween story every week next year? More French Maid stories? This story hit #1 on the UK Charts but #2 in US only behind the book for The Danish Girl since the movie just came out.

As I've mentioned before, the team and myself are working hard to put out some great content. There will be a schedule of releases coming starting in January.

Repost: Daddy's Little Girl Reality Show. New Novel?

Claire and I talked tonight about the future of our writing and some ideas for some new stories. Suddenly, the plot of a cap I made about 4 years ago came into my mind. This cap was actually made before this blog even existed. One of my firsts posts as a collection of many caps I made and posted on Rachel's Haven. Here is the original: http://courtneycaps.blogspot.com/2011/09/collection-part-ii.html

I think it will be fun having a story with various results of feminization. What do you think?

FREE Christmas Story: Crossdressed for Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone!

You would think I'm a postal worker with as many hours as I've been clocking in around the holidays! This is my first solo story, a short tale to go along in our Christmas series that is the Christmas surprise. For your Christmas present, it is FREE until Dec. 30th.

This is a clean story with no sex scenes and is in the same type of vibe as some of our other stories.

High school senior Brian is extremely jealous that underclassman Nick is drumline captain this year. He plots his revenge by trying to sabotage him at the first Christmas parade of the year, but plans fall through when he is caught on security camera and confronted by the band director!

What will Brian do when he is forced to join the majorette squad or face expulsion and maybe time in jail! Better yet, what will Brian do when he notices physical changes thanks being forced to wear a wig, makeup, and majorette uniform?!

A Girlfriend for Christmas Is Released!

Merry Christmas Eve!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019S6AOYI

I present to you, the story that caused my anxiety attack! Finally got it finished for the holidays. This is the first book in myself and Claire's "Modern TG Fiction Classics" series where we put our own spin on a TG Classic. The first is "Guy needs date: male friend becomes female!" The next one will be a "lost luggage" story next month.

John and Luke are young graphic designers living in New York City. Luke’s affluent family keeps pressuring him to get a girlfriend and have invited him to their vacation home in Maine for Christmas. He is able to talk John into turning into JULIA after offering him money to assume the role of his girlfriend for the holiday. Julia is also treated to expensive clothes, fine dining, and other perks of being a pretty girl.

However, problems arise when Luke’s mom, Anna, starts asking Julia some very personal questions about her identity… More problems arise when Luke wants to get a little frisky with his new girlfriend as well…

Word Count: 15,000+

Warning: 18+ Contains sex scenes

This story is ONLY on Amazon for now.

Courtney's Big Announcement

For those of you who visit this blog daily, you may have noticed that I took the blog down last Tuesday. In fact, I received several e-mails and messages from people asking what was happening. Considering what happened, I wanted to wait a few days before posting this to clear my mind a little. After having discussions with Claire, Alexis, Shaun, April, Anthony, and a few others; I have a big announcement.

I originally thought this day would never come, but the time is finally here to announce my retirement from capping. Whether this will truly be a permanent retirement, semi-retirement, or extended break is up in the air. When first launching this site, I promised myself that I would stop completely when I got married or became pregnant. Unfortunately, those still haven’t happened yet BUT something else did that I wasn’t expecting… a near nervous breakdown!

This decision did not occur suddenly, although an event the other day triggered the final decision. Last week, I almost suffered an anxiety attack due to growing stress in my personal and professional life. One medical professional friend of mine said I’m showing strong signs of depression/anxiety and a few other things that may be major. She recommended I contact a psychiatrist and I should be visiting soon.

Part of this stress has been trying to get these Christmas books finished in time. This made me think about some other things as well, such as the fact that I have lost interest in capping and a few other reasons I won’t go into.

To be honest, I have not felt a strong desire to cap in months. You’ll probably noticed that a few years ago, I would post almost every day but that has dwindled to only a few times a month in recent times.

When I first started capping (2009/2010), good clean caps were extremely difficult to find. There was quite a learning curve, but once I started I couldn’t stop. I became somewhat addicted in the first few months of launching this blog once fan base went through the roof and I was getting many compliments and e-mails from fans. Because of the learning curve and growing a blog, I was spending between 3-6 hours a day managing this blog. It was my baby!

At one point in time, I had about a half dozen people regularly contributing artwork and friends I talked to about TG Land stuff every day. This was a very fun time. However after a few years, personal tastes and lifestyles changed. I had others join the crew, but most were fly-by-night who did one cap and were never heard from again. The fun factor died off.

Claire and I decided to start writing full-length stories last year for the same reason I started capping in the first place: Because we weren’t finding the kind of stories we like too often. Here is the good news: I am NOT finished WRITING TG Fiction.

This decision might be a very positive thing as I’ll now be able to focus on working on my writing craft and producing better stories. There are several benefits to writing. The biggest is that I still enjoy it. Just to let you know, Claire and I have several unreleased books and I have a few other authors submitting great material that will come out soon.

Special thanks to my TG Land friends that I talked to about this. Most suggested that a break is well needed due to my current state. I’m still undecided on the future of this blog and would like to hear from you about what you think in the comments. I’ve considered changing the format to focus only on TG Fiction and related material rather than caps.

Over the years, I received many messages from people telling me that this blog helped them understand their feelings with gender identity and transformation interest. Who knows, this blog may have even SAVED lives. Thank you for everyone’s support over the years! I’m hoping to have the same effect with our books.

Some people who reached out to me this week while the site was down mentioned that they wish more people made caps like I did. If you want to make them… do it! A few caption artists got their start on this blog and/or were influenced enough to start their own blogs. In the early days of my interest in TG Caps, I was heavily influenced by Becky and Ashlee who still put out caps today, but others I was influenced by are long gone such as Miles at Tasteful TG Caps.

The blog is only about 20,000 views away from hitting the 10 million mark and I would love to see it hit that before the end of the year when I will make my final decision regarding this blog.

Again, thank you to everyone. You haven't heard the last from me, but a different direction is needed.

Love,

Courtney Captisa

Grass is Greener (and Announcements)

I made this for my long time friend (frombowtotoe) on Rachel's Haven after a conversation we had in private!

There's a new poll on the page on the left side. What tropes do you want to see more often in our books? The winner of the last poll of what sequel should we make was "Bet I Can Feminize My Brother" Claire and I are keeping promises and are working on the sequel right now which should be a little bit longer and have a few twists!

New Christmas book out on Thursday! Remember we are putting out a new Christmas story every Thursday this month. If you bought a book, be sure to review!

Feminized for Christmas Released!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018WZXKPQ

http://www.lulu.com/shop/courtney-captisa-and-claire-bear/feminized-for-christmas/ebook/product-22479832.html

Woo-hoo! Our next Christmas story is out! I'm excited about this one because it's our first story featuring a primarily Hispanic cast, something I don't see too often in TG Fiction. Someone even tries on (not willingly) a quinceanera dress!

After getting in another fight at school, there is only one option to save Carlos from expulsion: forcing him to participate in an extracurricular activity.

Seems harmless enough until members of the Drama Club force him to wear a girly princess gown as part of his costume for the Christmas play!

With no choice, Carlos must play the part… but what happens when his new friend Alexa wants him to play the part of ‘Catalina’ outside of school as well?

Claire is hitting the books in preparation for writing our next one but perhaps it will be a coloring book!

Christmas seems normal, until Nathan receives a special gift from his sister Amber… a box of her old clothes! Apparently someone wants a sister to play with for the holidays.

Nathan is embarrassed and shocked at first, especially when Amber admits that she caught him wearing her stuff before and wanted to keep it a secret until now.

Since the truth is known, this may be the best Christmas ever with his sister treating him to a makeover, curling his hair, and teaching him how to put a bra on.

But how will Dad react when he finds out he now has two teen girls this Christmas?

Christmas Story Previews & Updates! (STORY GIVEAWAY)

It's hard to believe it's December already! This year has really gone by quickly. It's been a great year for CCC/In Your Dreams Publishing. We released about a dozen books this year and have more on the way! Some new caps will be up shortly as well.

Claire and I have been working our asses off the last few weeks to get a few Christmas stories. The plan is to release a new story each Thursday this month. On Thanksgiving, I wanted to release TG Mall #3 which has a Christmas plot but it is now delayed. Haylee just got out of therapy so I'm hoping she jumps back on board with it soon. The first SHOULD be out this Thursday.

We worked today for about 9 hours in order to get our last co-written story finished. Due to working hard and travel plans, we are taking a week off and then working next week on what we've gotten a lot of requests for... sequels. Seriously, it seems like every time we release a book someone asks about a sequel. So here's your chance to decide! New poll is up. Let us know which story you want a sequel to and whichever one wins is which one we are writing.

So here is a preview of the stories! Please let me know which ones you are looking forward to the most! I'll also give a free copy to the first five people who comment on this post! (Must be 18+) I'll send out the free copy to your email once the story you pick is released. (ALL will be released this month, I'm just unsure of release order.)

A Sister for Christmas (First story set in Canada!)
Amber loves Christmas, but her brother Nathan seems to just go with the flow. That will change when Amber surprises him with a special gift... some of her old clothes!

Very clean and wholesome story, so we needed a corny cover.

A Wish For Christmas (Courtney's First Solo Story!)
25-year-old Ryan has been living on the West Coast and hasn't been back to his hometown back east in a few years. He is excited to come back home for Christmas, but is disappointed when he finds out his hometown had an economic collapse, friends are gone, favorite places are closed, and parents are on the brink of divorce! Christmas Eve night, he makes a wish for Christmas to be better like it used to be. Unfortunately, his wish is granted as he wakes up in 2005 as a 15-year-old girl!

Feminized For Christmas
Carlos is in trouble with constant fights at school and poor grades. Hopefully, he'll calm down once he's forced to play a girls' part in the school Christmas play! Luckily, the drama club president, Alexa, guides him under her wing... and into her quinceanera dress!

A Girlfriend for Christmas (Modern TG Classic Story)
Luke and John are friends who are graphic designers in NYC. Luke's affluent family invites him up north for the holidays, but he is apprehensive to go because of his mother's pressure to get a girlfriend. If he BRINGS a girlfriend, this shouldn't be a problem then. After a successful visit to a crossdressing makeover store, JULIA is dressed to impress. But will it be a positive impression?

(Only Christmas story Rated R)

SECRET STORY
This is one that I'm keeping secret until it's released. Let's just say the plot is one that we have featured in caps, but is extremely rare in story form.

Note: All of these stories will be released on Amazon and Lulu at the same time. Due to several reasons, no more stories will be part of Kindle Unlimited.
