"BREN"

I’m really surprised that this worked out as well as it did.  Initially, I thought I had written way too much, and was anticipating the nightmare of compressing it to fit the frame, or doing some photoshop magic to extend the image.  Then I decided to set the type on this thing, and it fit remarkably well.

Really, the whole thing came out of thin air, in a way.  I was thinking about how i wanted to name my children after calibers and guns and how if I had twins, they would be STEN and BREN, and then I realized that “Bren” would be easily mistaken for a shortening of “Brenda”, and the the concept popped into my head for this cap.  While I have a ton of girls-with-guns pictures to choose from, I decided that I needed a picture of a girl with an actual BREN for this to work, and lo-and-behold, a google image search turned up this beauty.  I really like the feminization method too–creating the Hobson’s choice between a spanking and a dress or wearing the dress voluntarily.
