It's the best TG Age Regression book since.... my last book! The story is about a short guy who has a strained relationship, loses his job, and eventually assumes the identity of a teenage girl! Amazing story and one worthy of a few re-reads.

I can see where you are coming from, and to be honest, even my pre teen years I dreamt of becoming girl and a dancer myself.
In this case however the movie was straight out of real life. "Girl" is based on the life of Belgium balerina Nora Monsecour.
There has been some controversie about the movie around here for a while, because it was supposedly to be told from a cis point of view, because Dhont and Polster are both genetic males.
But in interviews Nora Monsecour has stated that she was involved in writing the story and the script every step of the way, and that she approved of the film.
I believe that her opinion on the matter of it represents the story of a transwoman or not should be decisive. As she said, Lara's story is my story.
