The school's psychologist met several times with Paula, emphasizing with her and slowly convinced Paula to join the cheer leader team so she could be involved in athletics. She reluctantly did and to her surprise, Paula liked it and soon had many new friends.
Now, Haylee was one of Paula's best friends and we will soon (I hope) see the continuation of Paula's transitions from a future Haylee caption!
