I wanted to give this one a sort of "tired, but satisfied" tone. This year hasn't been too good for me, and I wanted to imagine a better year. Admittedly, getting beat to a pulp wouldn't be ideal, but she seems to have had a good end regardless.
Either way, Happy New Years, everyone! I hope 2014 will be better for everyone.
